Electronic Arts has released the official Battlefield 1 Gamescom 2016 trailer for your viewing pleasure.
This latest footage of the hotly anticipated World War One shooter includes heaps of action-packed gameplay set against a desert backdrop. Get your laughing gear around the latest Battlefield 1 gameplay below.
Battlefield 1 release date confirmed for fall 2016
Battlefield 1 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on October 21, 2016. The game arrives just one week ahead of fellow EA stablemate, Titanfall 2, and a few weeks ahead of competing shooter Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
However, DICE’s shooter eschews the contemporary setting of its predecessors in favor of placing the action during the events of the Great War. As such, you’ll be mixing it up with a host of authentic weapons, such as bolt-action rifles, shotguns, pistols, and sniper rifles, plus jumping into the cockpit of bi-planes or wreaking havoc with WWI-era tanks.
Battlefield 1 includes a comprehensive multiplayer experience featuring up to 64-players, and will also include a dedicated single-player campaign.
