Electronic Arts has teased that we can expect details on upcoming Battlefield 3 downloadable content to drop as early as next week.
The news emerged during the publishing powerhouse’s quarterly conference call last night, where Peter Ausnit, vice president of investor relations, said of the firm’s DLC strategy:
"We’ve got plans for all of our major franchises to turn them into more of… games for service that have a constant flow of downloadable content. You’re going to hear some announcements from us on Battlefield actually as early as next week in an event we’ve got in New York."
EA has yet to say what we can expect from future DLC, though Internet gossip suggests an All American expansion pack featuring locations such as New York, Miami, New Jersey and San Francisco.
