Electronic Arts has announced that its premium service for Battlefield 3 has surpassed 3.5 million subscribers.
The news comes following the publishing powerhouse’s Q4 FY13 financial call earlier today.
According to EA, BF3 premium pulled in revenue of over $120 million during the March quarter.
The premium service functions in a similar manner to rival Activision’s Call of Duty: Elite, allowing gamers access to all downloadable content packs for Battlefield 3, plus a host of extra goodies via the Battlelog website.
EA announced earlier this year that Battlefield 4 will be released in late 2013 and ships with an improved version of the Battlelog.
Stay tuned for more news from EA’s financial briefing shortly.
