EA DICE will release a patch next week to fix the online stability issues with the PS4 version of Battlefield 4.
Since the launch of the PS4 in the U.S., many gamers have complained about receiving error code “CE-34878-0” while playing Battlefield 4 which prevents them from accessing the game’s online services.
Via the official Battlelog forums, DICE explains that the team is well aware of the problem and has been working to fix the issue.
“We are aware of the frequent crashes in Battlefield 4 on PlayStation 4. We are hard at work identifying these issues and are hoping to get a game update out early next week. Stay tuned for more details as we can confirm them, and thanks for your patience!”
In the meantime, there is a workaround to try that some users are having success with.
Battlefield 4 is currently available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and PC. The Xbox One version is released to coincide with the launch of Microsoft’s new console later this week.
