Battlefield Studios looks set to add six more game modes for Battlefield 6, according to new data found within the multiplayer files for the recently-launched shooter.

- Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Sabotage/Mode/MUT_Sabotage
- Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/SquadShootout/Mode/MUT_SquadShootout
- Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Strikepoint/Mode/MUT_Strikepoint
- Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/TankHunt/Mode/MUT_TankHunt

Glacier is the codename for Battlefield 6, and the above strings mention Raid, Payload, Sabotage, Squad Shooter, Strikeopint, and TankHunt. Of those, Strikepoint and Sabotage have both been confirmed to be coming to Battlefield 6, with Strikepoint due alongside Season 1 on October 28 and Sabotage due on November 18 via the California Resistance update.
However, EA has yet to confirm a number of the other modes listed in the data leak, but their inclusion suggests that they are in the pipeline.
Battlefield 6 was released for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on October 10, 2025, and you can read our full review here. The military shooter reportedly sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide in its first few days on sale, something which you would normally see its rival series, Call of Duty, routinely achieve every year.
