Vehicles have always been a huge part of any Battlefield game and in Battlefield Hardline we can still expect a couple of surprises at launch that we don’t already know about.
In a round-table discussion with Visceral Games today, lead multiplayer designer Thad Sasser told us that there’s still more vehicles to be revealed.
“We still have a couple of surprises for you,” he said. “I’ll talk about one of them. Speedboats. You’ve probably seen them in some of the promos for Riptide, our offshore Miami map. These boats are cool. They offer a change of pace and they’re armed so they’re powerful when used properly. They’re also tricky because of the waves, so they add an interesting new dynamic that you’ve probably experienced before in Battlefield 4, but its’ different in Hardline. Besides that, we may have a couple of surprises for you.
What do you reckon? Jet skis? Hang-gliders? Jets?
It won’t be long until we find out. Battlefield Hardline launches on Windows PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on March 17 (U.S.) and March 20 (U.K.).
