Beat Hazard Ultra will be hitting PlayStation Network on October 19 in the U.K., Cold Beam Games has announced.
Arriving in North America on October 18, the twin-stick shooter has an intense relationship with music, and can warp the beat of any tune from your PlayStation 3 hard drive into enemy hordes for you to blast.
"Everything you see in the game is dictated by the music in some way, from the firepower of your ship to the number and patterns of enemies coming at you," said creator Steve Hunt.
BHU packs in a number of game modes, including Standard, Boss Rush and Survival, along with 23 perks to unlocks, 42 in-game challenges and 14 Trophies. Multiplayer wise, you can also indulge in both cooperative and competitive online elements.
In terms of cost, it’ll set you back £6.49 / $9.99.
