Hypnospace Outlaw which caught media’s attention when it released last year on PC is officially coming to PS4 next week, on August 27, 2020.
The game’s console release was announced today during Nintendo’s IndieWorld Direct showcase. Alongside the main game a free Hypnospace + update will also launch on PS4 on August 27. This update comes with 75-plus brand new pages to explore, new custom HypnOS cursor themes apps and games, and two hours of brand new music.

Hypnospace Outlaw captured the attention of many last year due to how well it captured the jank of 90’s internet and the cultural references within the game. Publisher No More Robots made a special game with that reflected in the game’s Metacritic score.
The title is currently sitting at an impressive 82 on Metacritic with a number of incredibly positive reviews.
