Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot has reaffirmed plans to launch a sequel to cult hit Beyond Good & Evil.
The original game was released in 2003, and though a sequel has been planned for some time now, nothing much is known about it. However, Ubisoft made it clear that the game would be released for next-generation platforms.
“It’s coming,” Guillemot told Kotaku at the PlayStation Meeting last week.
“I don’t give comments any more on BG&E2,” he added, “because I think…the next time we communicate we have to have something new.”
Beyond Good & Evil 2 was formally announced in 2008, though has been put on hold while creator Michael Ancel polishes off Rayman Legends.
