Ubisoft has announced that Beyond Good & Evil 2, the prequel and spiritual successor to Beyond Good Evil is coming, but we’re a little worried that this fantastic-looking game might not even be coming to PS4.
In the official press release, and on stage at the Ubisoft conference, there was no mention of which platforms the game will be released on.
Prominent journalist, Laura Kate Dale, however seems to be pretty certain it’s a Nintendo Switch exclusive, which is quite a worry for the PlayStation fans that enjoyed the PS2 original back in 2003.
For those debating BGE2 running on Switch, it’s a Snowdrop game, and so is Rabbids. Switch supports Snowdrop.

Other fans believe it might be a timed exclusive, while Sony obviously has no doubts by the looks of this tweet

“We know fans’ expectations for Beyond Good & Evil2 are enormous, which is why we first wanted to make sure we had a concept and technology that would astonish players I’m incredibly thankful to Ubisoft and to the fans for giving us the time and the trust to get it right,” said Michel Ancel, Creative Director in a press release.
“We’re creating a sci-fi space opera, a game where players fight for freedom alongside unforgettable characters and explore a stunning and vast solar system, all while capturing the spirit of Beyond Good & Evil.”
