Binary Domain suffers minor delay

Binary Domain’s worldwide release has suffered a slight delay, publisher SEGA confirmed today.

The actioner was originally pencilled in for release in North America on Valentine’s Day and February 17 in Europe. However, it’ll now launch in PAL regions on February 24 and in the U.S. on February 28.

Developed by Toshihiro Nagoshi’s newly-formed Yakuza Studio, Binary Domain takes the form of a futuristic squad shooter allowing you to dish out commands to your squadmates via headset or controller.

The game takes advantage of the much-publicised Consequence System, where your actions as squad leader directly shape the opinions of your teammates. This in turn affects both the gameplay and storyline, as squaddies will react differently depending on how they feel about you.
