UPDATE: Levine has put his own statements into question with a Twitter message, saying "I suspect no amount of saying ‘I didn’t start writing a new game’ would convince people I didn’t start writing a new game."
Original: BioShock: Infinite creator Ken Levine has revealed on Twitter that he’s in the process of writing new game material.
“Game writing this afternoon. This is something else,” said Levine.
When asked to elaborate on the writing process, the Irrational Games designer said he looked to Mad Men, Coen Bros, Kubrick and Stoppard among others for inspiration.
BioShock: Infinite was released in March and went on to become a critical and commercial success. Three DLC packs are currently in the pipeline, though production didn’t actually start on the first one until the game shipped.
