2K Games has once again put to rest rumours suggestion that the company’s critically acclaimed BioShock title may be heading to PlayStation 3, insisting it is definitely not happening.
Speaking on the official forum, in light of yet another thread speculating on the possibility of a PS3 port, a flustered company representative stated, "Please don’t tell me you made an account just for this question.”
“There will be no PS3 version of BioShock. It has been explained time and time again."
Released on Xbox 360 and PC, BioShock is an immersive first person shooter; with players assuming the role of a plane crash named Jack. The lone survivor soon discovers the entrance to an underwater metropolis named Rapture, where players must combine first person shooting with various RPG elements to fight their way out of a city overrun with the mutated remnants of a long lost civilisation.
