With multiple publishers taking advantage of the spooky season to launch Halloween events in games like Fortnite, Overwatch and Destiny 2, the Bloodborne community is determined not to miss out.
Though not an official event, a Bloodborne Halloween event has been planned by players and kicks off on October 26 until November 1. Inspired by the Return to Yharnam event, which was designed to reinvigorate the community by attracting new players and getting old ones to return, it’s already getting a lot of attention.
Called The Blood Moon, the Halloween event tasks players with hunting down beasts in From Software’s RPG. Some of the rules include creating a new character and always carrying your torch as a sign that you are part of a spooky hunt. You can read the full rules over on Reddit.
“October is here and the hunt shall begin once more, werewolves, vampires, monstrosities and the Old Ones are returning this October and is in our duty as Hunters to gather and rise against the beasts.”
