Borderlands 2’s Mechromancer DLC has been handed a tentative release date of October 16.
The character class-based content will be made available free of charge for punters who pre-order the Gearbox-developed action-RPG, though for everyone else it’ll cost $10 (PlayStation Network) or 800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE).
Gearbox previously confirmed an extensive post-launch support scheduled for Borderlands 2, with four campaign packs scheduled between September 2012 and June 2013.
Priced at $9.99 each, the DLC will provide several hours of gameplay in addition to offering new adventures, allies, enemies and locations.”
