Borderlands EchoVision Live Announced By Genvid Entertainment, Features 8 New Characters

Silent Hill: Ascension developer Genvid Entertainment has announced Borderlands EchoVision Live, a new interactive streaming service based on Gearbox’s much-loved looter-shooter franchise.

Here’s the official blurb:

What’s meant to be a three-week vacation turns into a permanent nightmare when the tourists find themselves stranded in the backwater town of Greywater Junction. Surrounded on all sides by cutthroats, bandits, and low-thread-count sheets, these unfortunate dilettantes must overcome their fears, failings, and greed in order to band together, rise to the occasion, and avoid the many, MANY bullets with their names on them.

While platforms and a release date have yet to be announced, this new Borderlands adventure will focus on eight new characters who find themselves in peril as they are marooned on Eden-6. Fans will follow the cast and determine whether they will go from zeroes-to-heroes, how they get along with each other, and what kind of individual (and ultimately, Vault Hunter) they will become.

You can expect to have a permanent influence on the characters and story in Borderlands EchoVision Live, engaging with audiences on which decisions should be made and collectively experiencing the outcome.
