Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel coming to PS4? Gearbox teases franchise news for PAX South

The developer behind the Borderlands franchise has promised more information on shoot-‘n0-loot series at PAX South this month, igniting speculation that we may get a port of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for current-generation consoles.

The studio’s panel will offer the "opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at Gearbox Software and get the latest news and updates on Borderlands and upcoming Gearbox titles!

"We will have never-before-seen reveals, exclusives and surprises, so don’t miss out!"

Gearbox’s talk will kick off on January 25 at 4.30 pm GMT, though it is unknown if a livestream will also be provided.

It’s worth remembering that Borderlands has been rumored for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One already, with a ratings listing popping up for a Borderlands compilation back in December.

Could all three Borderlands games see a high-definition overhaul for PS4? We’ll have to wait and see.
