Robert Bowling, the Creative Strategist of Infinity Ward, has confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will not receive the prestige edition treatment when the anticipated shooter hits store shelves later this year.
When asked about the prestige edition via Twitter, Bowling simply responded "There is no Prestige Edition, only a Hardened Edition for #MW3."
While you may not get a new pair of night vision goggles or something similar in this year’s edition, you will get a 12 month subscription to Call of Duty Elite.
