Gearbox Software has confirmed that its upcoming World War II FPS Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway will arrive slightly later than expected, with the game now scheduled to launch this September.
The highly anticipated sequel was originally pencilled in for release next month, though it appears the title has now been held back to coincide with the anniversary of Operation Market Garden in late September.
Gearbox President Randy Pitchford commented: "We’ll be gold in August, but it looks like the actual shelf date will be in September.”
"… late September is the anniversary of Operation Market Garden, so I think it would be really poetic if the game launched on the anniversary,” added Pitchford.
