Bulkhead has announced that first-person shooter WARDOGS is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2028, following the full launch of the PC version of the game today. Players can Wishlist the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game now.
“Wardogs is ambitious, rough around the edges and still has a long way to go, but that is exactly what Early Access should be,” commented Bulkhead CEO, Joe Brammer. “We’re putting the game in players’ hands, listening to what they tell us and taking the risks needed to turn it into something that can last. More than anything, we want people to get online, talk to each other and have the kind of fun in an FPS that we grew up having.”
WARDOGS is an ambitious FPS that marries tactical gunplay and combined arms combat with large-scale destruction mechanics, with up to 100 players occupying a militaristic sandbox. Inspired by King of the Hill, the primary game mode sees three teams fighting for control of a randomised 2.2km Control Zones within larger maps. The team wit the most players with this zone then accumulates points, and the first one to hit 100 points wins the match.
WARDOGS is slated to launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2028.
