Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition is being prepped for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, according to a rating that’s appeared in Brazil.
According to the listing, the re-release of the 2011 shooter will hit current-generation consoles at some point in 2017, though that’s about all we know so far.
Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition release all but confirmed for PS4
Interestingly this isn’t the first time a Bulletstorm PS4 remaster has cropped up. Assets of the game were handed out in a press package at E3 2016, although nothing was officially confirmed at the time.
Bulletstorm was released in early 2011 for PS3, PC, and Xbox 360, and was developed by People Can Fly and designed by Cliff Bleszinski, one of the key creators behind the multi-million selling Gears of War franchise. The game is noted for its crass humor and emphasis on landing creative kills, which rewards players for how they perform in combat.
While receiving positive reviews from critics at the time, Bulletstorm sold just under one million copies, resulting in the planned sequel being canceled and publisher Epic Games failing to turn a profit on the game. Bulletstorm has since garnered a cult following and remains one of the most underrated gems of the last console generation.
