In upcoming patch v1.1.1, Bungie will add matchmaking to Destiny’s Weekly Heroic Strike Mission.
Currently, players have to go it alone on the strike but later this month players will be matched up with other Guardians to take on the tough mission.
"We wanted the Weekly Heroics to be a challenge that pushed you and your buddies, but what we observed was that these strikes don’t demand the same cooperation of a cohesive pre-made group," said Bungie in a blog post.
"The overwhelming community response was such that many players didn’t have the numbers on their friends list to experience the activity on a weekly basis."
The patch will also address a bug with heavy ammo, as well as tweak the balancing on some of the guns.
There’s still no word on whether matchmaking will be applied to the Weekly Nightfall Strike or the Raids.
