Dataminers have revealed that Call of Duty 2024 could be revealed as early as this month via an in-game event for Call of Duty Warzone.
This comes following Microsoft’s announcement that it will host an Xbox Games Showcase on June 9, which will be followed by a digital presentation for an as-yet undisclosed title. However, The Verge reports that this mystery game is the new Call of Duty title, which is supposedly targeting a late October 2024 release.
Microsoft’s teaser included an image of the mythical three-headed dog, Cerberus, which just so happens to be the reported codename for Call of Duty 2024. Dataminers rummaging through code this week discovered references to a Cerberus reveal during Season 3, which is set to run until the end of the month,

Details on Call of Duty 2024 have been rumoured for quite some time now, and last November it was reported the game would be a Black Ops titled developed by Treyarch, and will take place during Gulf War. A few months prior that, it was claimed that Luke Charles Stafford had been cast as the main character in Call of Duty 2024.
