Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare new multiplayer modes Uplink and Momentum revealed

In addition to fan-favourite multiplayer game modes, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and Domination, Activision has confirmed that Uplink and Momentum will feature in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

In Uplink, players will battle for control of a satellite drone and then race to deliver it to the opponent’s uplink. The game mode will be fast and frantic and rely heavily on teamwork.

The other new game mode is called Momentum, which takes its inspiration from War mode found in Call of Duty: World At War. On each map they’ll be five capture points, though only one will be active at a time. Players must build up the momentum metre by capturing points, but the metre will be reset once your opponent captures one of your areas. The team with the most points (momentum) will be the winner.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which is due for release on PS3 and PS4 on November 4, will also feature multiplayer game modes: Hardpoint, Search & Destroy and Team Domination. More game modes are coming, but still to be confirmed.
