Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is launching on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on October 25, 2024, Activision announced yesterday evening during a special Black Ops 6 Direct presentation.
This latest entry in the long-running franchise takes place during the early 1990s, which marks a major turning point in global politics with the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as the single world superpower. Black Ops 6 is developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, and offers a full-blown campaign featuring “dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that marries cloak-and-dagger spy activity with blockbuster set pieces.

In addition to the campaign, Activision is promising a “best-in-class” multiplayer suite that features 16 new maps at launch, plus 12 core 6v6 maps and four strike maps. Round-Based Zombies is also returning, where players are required to vanquish hordes of undead across two maps.
