Prominent Call of Duty leaker GhostofHope has claimed that this year’s entry in the multi-million selling franchise, which is confirmed as Call of Duty Black Ops 7, will launch on November 14, 2025.
This puts the game out slightly later than its predecessor, and historically most Call of Duty games have been out in late October or early November. While Call of Duty Black Ops 7 has been officially confirmed as this year’s entry, Activision is holding out on any concrete details until GamesCom Opening Night Live next month.

Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, Call of Duty Black Ops 7 takes place in 2035, one decade after the events of of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and follows David Mason and his teammates as they pursue “a manipulative enemy who weaponises fear above all else.”
Call of Duty Black Ops 7 has yet to attract an official release date, but is confirmed to launch for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
