Call of Duty Black Ops 7 will release for PS4 and PS5 on November 14, 2025, it has been confirmed.
Activision has pulled the wraps off the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 gameplay trailer during GamesCom Opening Night Live, offering us our first detailed looked at the upcoming military shooter where the player finds themselves tangling with a rogue enemy that can weaponise human perception like never before to create some bizarre new worlds for players to shoot and tear across.

It has also been confirmed at GamesCom that Call of Duty Black Ops 7 will offer up a specially crafted four player, co-op campaign too.

Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, Call of Duty Black Ops 7 takes place in 2035, one decade after the events of of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and follows David Mason and his teammates as they pursue “a manipulative enemy who weaponises fear above all else.”
Black Ops 7 will be going head-to-head with Battlefield 6 later this year, although according to a report citing sources close to Activision, the publisher isn’t concerned about its rival as it believes Call of Duty is too big to fail. Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is due out for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
