More details on the Call of Duty WW2: Zombie mode are due to be revealed on July 20, after Sledgehammer Games’ General Manager Glen Schofield teased a bloody picture on Twitter.
The latest post by Schofield is hard to analyse as it just looks like a load of raw flesh surrounding some kind of black object, but it could tie in with the studio’s comparison between zombies in Call of Duty: WW2 and Dead Space.

In a recent interview with EDGE magazine, Sledgehammer CEO Michael Condrey teased zombies mode by saying it will include “some really authentic stuff” and that it will be “unique to our Dead Space signature.”
Interestingly, both Schofield and Condrey worked together on Dead Space.
What exactly this means, we don’t know, but it sounds like the Call of Duty: WW2 zombies mode may play a lot differently to the ones found in Treyarch’s Black Ops 3 zombie mode or Infinity Ward’s Infinite Warfare. We’re expecting a much more cinematic and fear-inducing zombie mode than ever before!
All eyes are on July 20, when we can expect more news!
In other CoD news, Activision confirmed that the Call of Duty WW2 beta for PS4 will kick off on August 25, 2017.
