Ubisoft has pencilled in first person shooter Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood for release in PAL regions on July 3, 2009. A North American release is scheduled for June 30.
The prequel to the 2007 original western-themed shooter, Bound in Blood has the McCall brothers blasting their way through a variety of locations, from Civil War-era Georgia to the Aztec Ruins of Mexico. The game will also support co-op play, with both Ray and Thomas each possessing their own unique weapons and abilities in which to dish out the damage.
The story revolves around the duo’s attempts to track down the legendary treasure of Juarez, with the pair facing off against all manner of unscrupulous folk, including a Mexican bandit and Apache Chief. You’ll also get the chance to ride various contraptions including canoes and old school wagons.
