Capcom has revealed that it has a major unannounced game due to launch by the end of its current fiscal year, which wraps at the end of March 2024.
Speaking during its latest earnings results this week in a Japanese Q&A section, where the publisher mentions the unannounced game in relation to how the company aims to reach its year-end sales target. Given that it’s a major title, we can only assume this pertains to Monster Hunter or Resident Evil, although nothing has been confirmed et.
With The Game Awards 2023 lined up for December, there’s a good chance that Capcom may announce the new game there, as that’s pretty much the biggest event between here and March.
Capcom has been enjoying a lot of success this year with Resident Evil 4 Remake and Street Fighter 6, which have sold 5.45 million and 2.47 million units each, respectively.
