Capcom has reiterated that the publisher is planning on showcasing the upcoming Resident Evil 5 extensively at this year’s E3 Media and Business Summit in July.
Speaking with Videogaming247, a company representative stated, “The next western world [media] drop will be to coincide with E3.”
“We’ve got our press conference. At CAPTIVATE08 we told everyone that we would have some big things to reveal at E3. It’s our main game there.”
While the majority of Capcom’s E3 plans for the survival horror sequel remain unknown, the publisher did confirm that we could expect some details on the mysterious new female character shown in the recent CAPTIVATE 08 trailer.
It is widely speculation that this character, known as Sheva, will be playable in the game’s rumoured co-op mode, although this remains to be seen.
