Capcom has released a survey asking fans if they would like to see a revival of various classic franchises including Breathe of Fire, Dino Crisis, and Onimusha among other long-forgotten IPs.
The Resident Evil creator asked “are there any Capcom game series (including spinoff games) that you would like to see get a sequel or new game?,” with the likes of Breath of Fire, Dead Rising, Dino Crisis, Okapi, and Lost Planet named-dropped.
Meanwhile, it also asks “is there a game that you would like to see completely remade with the latest technology, including character design and story direction?” And mentions Ace Attorney 1-3, Breath of Fire 1-3 and Mega Man 1-3.

Given the success of the Resident Evil remakes the past five years or so, it’s not surprising that Capcom would be considering remaking other titles in its back catalogue. Fans have been calling for a Dino Crisis remake for years now, and while the survey does offer hope, it isn’t confirmation that something will actually happen.
Something we do know is that Capcom will be remaking more Resident Evil games in the future, although right now they haven’t confirmed which title is next in line for a revamp.
