Capcom‘s long-awaited fantasy-RPG Dragon’s Dogma 2 will receive fresh gameplay at the Tokyo Game Show 2023, the developer has announced.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is powered by the RE Engine, which Capcom previously used in the likes of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil 2 Remake. The game takes the form of a single-player, narrative driven action-RPG, with players joined by mysterious beings known as Pawns, which simulate the feeling of being accompanied by other players.
Set in an epic fantasy world, Dragon’s Dogma 2 encourages players to try different things as you explore and combat foes with a variety of weapons, including swords, bows, and magick. You’ll also take control of the Arisen, which lead a part of up to three different Pawns throughout your adventure, with the ability to customise your own main Pawn.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 has yet to attract a release date but hopefully we’ll find out more details on a launch window at TGS 2023.
