Capcom Won’t Stop Producing Physical Games Despite Its Sales Being 90% Digital

Capcom has revealed that it has no plans to cease production of physical games despite the fact digital sales of its titles vastly outweigh those of disc-based products.

Asked about its outlook on the production of physical products in wake of the rise of digital sales in its portfolio, which took place during a Q&A in its 45th general shareholder meeting, the company responded:

Given that a significant number of end users demand physical games, we do not expect to eliminate physical products.
