24BigThings has announced that Carmageddon: Rogue Shift is coming in early 2026 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.
This latest entry in the legendary franchise takes the form of a roguelite racing romp that channels the series’ penchant for brutal vehicular warfare and mayhem, as players adapt, upgrade and unleash destruction on undead hordes in a post-apocalyptic setting. Carmageddon: Rogue Shift offers 15 upgradable vehicles featuring unique weight and suspension, with 13 weapon classes to pick from, including shotguns and railguns, all of which can be upgraded.

Meanwhile, Carmageddon: Rogue Shift keeps players on their toes with dynamic weather and day-night cycles, with rain slick tarmac and fog-shrouded ambushes adding an extra dimension to gameplay, while boss encounters such as war-rigs and corrupted Enforces providing a chance to really go all-out with your deadly arsenal.
In particular, the Roguelite Campaign offers a unique experience with each run through a randomly generated graph, as you win events and bash up opponents to gain Credits, and use Shops as safe havens to repair your car, change weapons, and install one of more than 80 unlockable perks.
