The big Cat Quest update 1.01 has landed on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
You can now get your paws on the Kitmas update which introduces a new quest just by the Queen's Resort. There's also the introduction of the New Game + mode. Simply, complete the game and New Game+ will be unlocked allowing you to play again from scratch with your current level and equipment.
Cat Quest update 1.01 introduces Mew game mode
Additionally, there's the new Cat Quest Mew game mode. Once again, you can't play this until you've beaten the game but now you'll be able to start again with a variety of new “meow-difiers” which affect the gameplay.
Writing on Twitter, the developer said:
“Cat Quest news! The Kitmas Update brings you a special quest near the Queen’s Resort, the New Game +, and the Mew Game, to start from scratch with meowdifiers and unique rewards! The patch is live on PS4 and Switch today! Get your paws ready!”
