Acclaimed Square Enix RPG Chaos Rings is coming to PlayStation Mobile in Japan next week, and may be hitting the North American PlayStation Store as well.
PSN Stores spotted the game’s North American website, which lists a release date of July 24 and a price of $8.99. That’s right in line with what the game costs on iOS and Android, but Square Enix has yet to confirm a North American PS Mobile release.
Chaos Rings is a turn-based JRPG that sees characters fight through dungeons and tournament matches in the Ark Arena, a mysterious venue that ultimately grants either death or immortality. The New York Times liked it, calling Chaos Rings "more successful and ultimately more enjoyable than Final Fantasy XIII." Not exactly high praise, but there you have it.
