Rockstar Games has unleashed the official trailer for Grand Theft Auto Online’s next major update, the much-anticipated ‘Further Adventures in Finance and Felony.’
The upcoming expansion for Grand Theft Auto V’s online component has been marketed as the biggest and deepest addition yet, and sees gamers continuing their inexorable rise as a high-flying criminal kingpin.
Gamers will be given the chance to purchase and flog contraband via warehouses throughout the city, as well as nabbing specialised cargo to store at these locations. Naturally, hostile takeovers and disrupting rival supply chains comes part and parcel of your road to company overlord.

GTA Online isn’t permanent, but it’s not going anyway time soon
Released a month after GTA V hit stores for PS3 and Xbox 360, GTA Online takes Rockstar’s crime opus into a full-fledged multiplayer landscape, where gamers work to become a crime overlord by completing various tasks.
While it was originally believed Rockstar would complement the single-player experience with DLC, GTA Online has become its priority as far as post-launch content is concerned. The Heist expansion is an example of how the studio has fleshed out the game considerably since launch.
Despite the fact GTA V is nearly three-years old, the game’s online component has continued to attract a huge fan base, with eight million players flocking to GTA Online per week. Rockstar said that 2.3 billion hours had been logged in the game just over a year after its release.
Publisher Take-Two said this week that it will have to rest the franchise at some point, admitting that GTA Online is not a permanent service. However, with the new expansion due on June 7, we shouldn’t worry about it disappearing anytime soon.
