City Interactive has revealed that Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will be released on August 21, 2012.
Due out on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360, the game utilizes the CryEngine 3 and features enhanced AI, lush environments and “unprecedented” levels of realism in terms of weapons and ballistics.
The game is a follow-up to 2010’s Sniper: Ghost Warrior, which received something of a battering by critics but nonetheless sold over a million copies, enough to warrant a sequel.
