Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was released on April 25, 2025 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, and has selling strongly ever since, with two million copies moved worldwide by early May. The game’s latest update was released on May 9, and added weapon balancing and a number of key bug fixes.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 takes place in a world inspired by Belle Époque France, and sees players embarking on a quest to destroy the Paintress, who is slowly erasing people by painting her monolith using a cursed number. She’s now at ’33,’ thus kicking off Expedition 3.
