Former Epic Games designer Cliff Bleszinski has expressed interest in giving Capcom a helping hand in fixing the Resident Evil franchise.
Writing on Twitter, the man formally known as CliffyB stated, “Hey Capcom, call me. We can fix Resident Evil. Together. :)"
In response, Capcom’s U.K. arm requested that Bleszinski “bring pizza.”
The Gears of War head honcho’s comments also attracted attention from Capcom fighting boss Yoshinori Ono, who offered:
“I’m very glad to hear it! Ono Tweeted, adding: “Do u interested in Street Fighter ;p”
Bleszinski quit Epic Games last month after spending more than 20 years with the high-profile developer, stating he needs a “much needed break” from the videogames industry.
Resident Evil 6 was released on October 2 to mixed reviews from critics, though still managed to make quite a dent in the software charts. PSU.com was quite impressed with the game however, as you can see in our review here.
