Concord Concord Sales Firewalk Studios News PC PS5

Concord Reportedly Sells As Little As 25,000 Copies Across PS5 & PC

A report on IGN has claimed that Firewalk Studios Concord has sold as few as 25,000 units across both PS5 and PC, with analyst Simon Carless suggesting it moved around 10,000 copies on Steam and 15,000 units on Sony’s console.

It’s been well-documented that Concord has struggled to get off the ground since its launch at the end of August, having failed to hit 1,000 players in its opening weekend. Furthermore, Circana’s Mat Piscatella said the hero shooter “ranked 147th US PS5 dialy active players across all titles, with fewer than 0.2% of Monday’s active PS5 players playing the game.”

Concord has had a bit of an uphill struggle since its full reveal earlier in the year, as many people originally thought it was as single-player adventurer with a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe. This didn’t go down well with a lot folk, and many have stated that it would have been better that Concord had launched as a PS Plus title or as a free-to-play experience.

Despite all of this, Firewalk Studios has a clear plan ahead for Concord, having revealed its content plans for Season 1 & 2. You can read our full review of Concord here.
