Sony Computer Entertainment America’s official website has been updated with a new job listing for an “Online Gameplay Programmer”, to join the team behind the “critically acclaimed AAA titles "God of War" and "God of War II.”
This has lead to speculation that the next God of War game will feature online play, unless it happens to be a listing for a handheld or other project that we don’t currently know about. Either way, it’s interesting news.
God of War III will be released exclusively on the PlayStation 3 in 2009.
