Borderlands Borderlands Movie Craig Mazin News

Craig Mazin Removes His Name From Borderlands Movie Credits

Craig Main, the showrunner behind The Last of Us’ HBO adaptation, appear to have distanced himself from the long-delayed Borderlands movie by having his name removed from the credits and replaced by a pseudonym, Joe Crombie.

The Borderlands movie has been undergoing reshoots under Deadpool director Tim Miller, according to reports. The film’s original director, Eli Roth, had handed the reins to Miller for the final two weeks before jumping to another project.

Based on Gearbox’s much-loved loot-shooter, Borderlands was originally pencilled in for release in 2022, although that didn’t happen and there’s still no release date in sight.

The film will star Cate Blanchett (Lilith), Kevin Hart (Rolan), Jamie Lee Curtis (Tennis), and Jack Black (Claptrap) another others, with Mazin providing the screenplay.
