NIS America has announced that Criminal Girls: Invite Only, a turn-based JRPG starring seven female delinquents, will launch on PS Vita early next year.
NIS America’s remaster of the Japan-exclusive Criminal Girls on PSP is set for February 3, 2015. In Criminal Girls, the player is put in charge of guiding seven criminal girls through a redemption program. In an interesting gameplay twist, the commands available to you during battle are somewhat randomized and depend on each girl’s personality. You’ll have to triumph over foes by making the most of options the girls present.
Some content additions mark the transition to PSP. Two new playable characters join extra scenarios and levels, while artistic upgrades are present throughout. The game will feature Japanese audio with English text.
Previously, NIS America discussed slight changes made to the original game to ensure release in all targeted territories. This includes the removal of sound effects like moans and gasps during punishment mini-games and few extra steam effects to cover certain problematic images.
