Crisis Core: FFVII dated for North America

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is already in the hands of the Japanese public, where the game saw great success as well as help enhance the PSP’s status in the country.

Now, in a company press release which highlights upcoming titles due out in early 2008, Crisis Core has finally been given a North American release date, with the game due to arrive on March 25, 2008.

While it was not listed in the press release, North Americans should not be surprised if Sony decides to release a limited collector’s edition PSP bundled with Crisis Core, similar to what SCEJ did back in September. So now you have a date, so make sure you set aside the proper amount of funds so that when the time comes, you’ll be enjoying the experience with many others.

Crisis Core is a prequel to the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy VII, in which the story follows a character by the name of Zack, a mercenary and fellow combat buddy of FFVII protagonist, Cloud Strife. In this action RPG, Zack must journey through vast locations, battle the odds, and set the story for is later to come in Final Fantasy VII.

A release date for European territories has yet to be announced. Stay tuned for more information at PSU as it becomes available.
