Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt RED has revealed that it is looking to get the troubled sci-fi title back on the PlayStation Store as soon as possible, after it was removed due to considerable backlash due to the game’s performance on PS4.
You can read the new statement from CDPR now:
Following our discussions with PlayStation, a decision was made to temporarily suspend digital distribution of Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation Store.
You can still buy physical versions of the game in brick and mortar stores and online. All purchased digital and physical copies of the game will continue to receive support and updates as we continue to improve your experience.
We are working hard to bring Cyberpunk 2077 back to PlayStation Store as soon as possible.
Cyberpunk 2077 was released on December 10 for PS4, PC and Xbox One, although the game’s launch was marred by various bugs and glitches found on current-generation consoles. CDPR has pledged to gain back the trust it has lost with people over the mishaps.
