CD Projekt RED‘s Cyberpunk 2077 is reportedly missing resolution mode on the PS5 that are present on the Xbox Series X at launch.
While the full-fledged next-generation versions of Cyberpunk 2077 are not due out until 2021, the PS4 and Xbox One editions are playable via backwards compatibility on new systems and offer improved performances.
However, upon testing the PS4 version on the PS5, we found there are is no resolution mode, meaning players are unable to switch between a higher resolution. It does, however, run at 60 FPS. This resolution mode is seen when playing the game on the Xbox Series X, according to VGC, so it’s odd to see it missing from the PS5 version.
