Cyberpunk 2077’s New Car Chases & Vehicular Combat To Deliver High-Speed Thrills

CD Projekt RED has dropped off fresh details about one of the key features coming to Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.0, namely its car chases and vehicular combat.

The developer outlined three new ways in which players can take out foes from their car, other than simply mowing them down. One of these methods is obviously using your weapons, such as the pistol or SMG, from the back of a motorbike or through the windshield of a car. Those that have CrystalDome tech allow you to open the sliding doors and fire off a few rounds this way instead.

The second option available to players is utilising the mounted weapons feature, which is available on specific nomad cars that use CrystalDome tech. Gatling gun, anyone? Finally, the third option is more subtle, and involves using the new car hacking abilities. With this, you can blow up cars, make them hit the brakes, or accelerate without being able to stop.
