VR Bits, the indie studio behind the upcoming space simulator, Darkfield, has gradually been releasing details throughout the development process since 2013, and we can’t seem to get enough information at a time. Last month, fans actually got to see a little peek of the Alpha stage of the game for the Oculus Rift, which is a step up from the self-made “Hackulus” VR goggles, created for the demo in the beginning.
So, the big news right now is that VR Bits CEO Mark Schramm recently took to Twitter to tease some potentially exciting news for PlayStation owners.
“Can’t show what @DarkfieldVR now runs on, so I’m just going to leave this here #VirtualReality”. Embedded at the bottom of the message was an image of a DualShock 4, the PlayStation Move motion controller and its companion navigation controller.
So, is Darkfield really going to be available on PS4’s Project Morpheus? All we can do is wait and see. Check out a trailer for Darkfield below.
